Kobem joins the Fish Audio Startup Program

Kobem has joined the Fish Audio Startup Program. Fish Audio builds speech models, and its program gives early-stage companies working with voice a year of access to its real-time speech engine, higher usage limits and support from its team.

How we test a voice

We will use that access to test Fish Audio's voices. Every voice Kobem considers goes through the same two tests before it reaches a real call:

• It has to sound like a person. It pauses where a person would pause, and the caller can cut in at any moment.
• It has to answer quickly. The reply has to arrive in time to keep the conversation moving.

A voice reaches a real call only when it passes both.
