This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies kobem.ai and the Kobem dashboard use, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can accept them, reject them or withdraw your consent. It complements the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser's local and session storage.
2. Controller
The controller of first-party cookies is KOBEM TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO (“Kobem”), with its registered address at IFZA Properties, Premises DSO-IFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its full details are in the Legal Notice. If you accept analytics, PostHog, Inc. (“PostHog”) processes the data on Kobem's behalf, as a processor.

Necessary cookies do not require consent. Kobem does not use advertising cookies. The dashboard also keeps usage preferences in the browser, such as the light or dark theme, the calls view or whether the tutorial has been seen. They stay on the device and are not sent to anyone.
If you sign in with Google or open the Cal.com calendar to book a meeting, those services may use their own cookies, which Kobem does not control and which are governed by their policies: Google, Cal.com.
4. Measurement without cookies
The site and the dashboard count visits and measure their speed with Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which work without cookies or persistent identifiers: they do not recognise a person across sessions or follow them outside kobem.ai. Clicks on short links (kobem.ai/go/…) are counted without storing anything on the device and without keeping the IP address: only the link, the day and the country are recorded.
5. Analytics with PostHog
It only runs if you accept it. PostHog records the pages visited, where the visit came from, clicks, technical data about the browser and device, and the approximate country and city, in order to measure how the site is used and improve it. The IP address is only used to work out that location and is not kept. Sessions are not recorded and what is typed into forms is not collected. The data is kept for a maximum of 12 months and is not used for advertising, profiling or automated decisions about anyone.
6. Legal basis
Necessary cookies and measurement without cookies are based on Kobem's legitimate interest in the site and the dashboard working, being secure and being measurable without identifying anyone.
PostHog analytics is based on your consent. Withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
7. How to accept, reject or withdraw consent
On the first visit, a notice shows two equivalent options, accept and reject, and the site works the same either way. The choice is kept for 12 months, after which you are asked again.
You can change it at any time in , also available in the website footer. Withdrawing consent deletes the analytics cookies and entries.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. If you block the necessary ones, some dashboard features may stop being available.
8. International transfers
Analytics data is hosted on PostHog servers in the European Union. PostHog, Inc. is a United States company, and the processing agreement signed with it includes standard contractual clauses.
Kobem is based in the United Arab Emirates, and Vercel provides its services from the European Union and the United States. The applicable safeguards are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contact@kobem.ai. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
If the cookies used change, this policy and its date will be updated. If a new cookie requires consent, you will be asked again.
